On August 11, 2014, the AMBCC supported our very own Maggie Anderson and Eugene Mitchell at the American College Conference of African American Professionals which brings together Black agents from across the country who represent many of the largest  insurance companies in the nation.

The Town Hall hosted by New York Life Insurance African American market agents presented “The African American Community Empowerment Plan” and their goals of generating $50 billion of generally tax-free future income every five years. To do this, they will help protect the dreams of 200,000 African American families by showing each one how purchasing at least $250,000 of life insurance today can lead to a more financially secure tomorrow.

Special thanks to Maggie and Eugene for inviting the AMBCC to become a part of this movement. We are eager and ready to spread the word within the community.
